We process your personal details because this is necessary for the performance of services under the medical treatment agreement (article 6, paragraph 1, sub b, of the GDPR). This enables us to inform our patients on recent developments our changes in our services.  

Purposed of the processing of information 

The personal details we collect will be used for the following purposes:  

composition and maintenance of your medical file; 

planning of appointments; 

performance of the treatment; 

requests for and performance of an e-Consult; 

keeping up the preference you have submitted; 

improvement of our services;

We will in principle only share your personal details with third parties with your prior consent. We only share said information with third parties without your consent if this is necessary to perform under services under the medical treatment agreement or to comply with a legal obligation.

We will not retain your information longer than the purposes mentioned in this privacy and cookie statement necessitate, unless we are legally required to retain the information for a longer period. For the retention of your medical information, we apply the retention period stated in the relevant law (Wet op de geneeskundige behandelovereenkomst). If applicable, we will also comply with other legal retention requirements.
